THE VITAL THING EARLY THIS WEEK IS FOR YOU TO PLEASE CALL TWO NEW MEXICO STATE SENATORS, AND THEN TO ASK EVERYONE ELSE YOU KNOW TO CALL SENATOR MARY KAY PAPEN OF LAS CRUCES (505) 986-4300 AND SENATOR DEDE FELDMAN (SAME #) TO ASK THEM TO VOTE FOR SENATE BILL 498 IN THE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE WHEN IT CONSIDERS THIS BILL TO BAN ASPARTAME….THEY ARE THE SWING VOTES AS WE ANTICIPATE ALL THE REPUBLICANS WILL VOTE AGAINST IT JUST BECAUSE THE BAN ASPARTAME BILL SPONSOR, DEMOCRAT ORTIZ Y PINO, INTRODUCED THE RESOLUTION TO IMPEACH BUSH AND CHENEY! EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIVE IN NEW MEXICO, THESE CALLS ARE VERY ESSENTIAL….

If we lose the bill in this committee by one vote, that is it for another year, and whether I would pursue this in 2008 is questionable.
